Full Count con la Base’ Llena

It’s the bottom half of the thirteenth inning of a Dominican league baseball game, complete with cheerleaders, a mascot, and t-shirt canons. The audience experiences the same three outs from the perspective of the dugout, the bleachers, and the press box, as the game threatens to go into even more extra innings. What seems like a meaningless mid-season match-up devolves into a dumpster fire as characters and locations intersect and secrets are revealed, leaving everyone wondering, ‘will this game ever end?’ An exploration of the subtle impact of the United States on Caribbean lives through the immigrant players that dominate America’s favorite pastime.

MILK WEED

Waylaid on their way to the renaissance faire, five friends are trapped in a terrible Airbnb. To pass the time, they tell each other stories. Stories about themselves, about each other, and about the society they wish they lived in. Inspired by the Decameron, bad Shakespeare, and pandemic melancholy, stories nest inside stories, dissolving into a kaleidoscopic jumble.

(there is no day or night in space)

Three siblings disagree about a memory of their late mother. They settle the argument in the most literal way possible: by boarding a train faster than the speed of light, which will allow them to catch up to the memory in outer space. Onions are cut, TSA rules are broken, theoretically impossible encounters unfold.
