Horsegirl, a trans woman in her thirties, lives a life of easy routine alongside her father, Cowdaddy, in rural Pennsylvania. When she falls for Bethel, a magnetic Teach for America fellow who just rolled into town, their relationship sparks a fantastical metamorphosis.
